RPS300

Rotary Potentiometers, Rheostats (RPS300) are very versatile components used in a wide variety of applications for a range of different purposes. They are used to adjust and measure resistance, and can be used to control or adjust an electrical signal. In some cases, the RPS300 can be used to adjust the output level of an amplifier or the gain of an oscillator.

RPS300’s have a rotating contact which is connected to a resistive track on the component. By rotating the contact, the value of the resistance across it can be adjusted. By adjusting the position of the contact, the resistance across the track is also adjusted, thus allowing the desired voltage, current or resistance value to be adjusted.

The RPS300 is an intelligent device and can be used to accurately control the voltage, current or resistance in a circuit. As it moves along the resistive track, it can generate an output signal that is proportional to the position of the contact in relation to the resistive track.
