Common Mode Chokes are devices that are used to prevent the interference generated by high frequency signals in capacitances. They work by creating a magnetic field that limits the transfer of the signals from one circuit to the other. Common Mode Chokes are predominantly used in the automotive industry, for example in cars for controlling the power supply. This means that they are widely used for systems that require low interference and deliver a good signal to noise ratio. One of the most common types of common mode chokes is the RS512-4-02. This type is a cylindrical type with a ferrite core. This model was designed for a low inductance and is suitable for big variation of applications.
