RSL10-002GEVB is an ideal platform for evaluation and development of Bluetooth Low Energy, 802.15.4, and ZigBee and proprietary RF connections. It helps designers develop and test their products with a range of certified software cores and hardware tools, such as the Gain-Boost Transmitter, Evaluation Board and Advanced RF Measurement kit. This RF Evaluation and Development Kit allows for a more rapid prototyping and development cycle while providing a suite of powerful and easy-to-use tools.

This RF Evaluation and Development Kit consists of four different parts. First, the RSL10-002GEVB Gain-Boost Transmitter Board which allows for signals with lower power output to reach greater distances with less power consumption. The board amplifies the signal with a gain-boost circuit and adds peak power enhancement. This increases the maximum measurable power of the device by four times. It also provides I2C interface for signal strength tuning and capabilities for additional external components used for signal conditioning.

Second, the RSL10-002GEVB Evaluation Board is designed to speed up product development and testing. It has several socketed components for programming, and comes with several test software packages for Bluetooth and ZigBee applications. The Evaluation Board includes two MCUs, a power supplies manager, multiple debugging and programming options, and several dedicated connectors for interfacing with other hardware.
