Working Principle

The RST 400 AMMO has a very unique design for a fuse, using two main components: the rotor assembly and the detonator. The rotor assembly consists of a bearing, which is placed at the front end of the fuse where it is attached to the warhead by an arming wire. The detonator is located at the rear of the fuse. The rotor assembly is powered by a propellant gas and a magnetic field that energizes the rotor blades. The energy of the rotor blades is transferred to the detonator to cause the desired detonation. This is accomplished by a series of timing gears that ensure the detonator is armed in the proper time.

The RST 400 AMMO is designed in such a way that it can be used to arm and disassemble weapons system. The fuse\'s ability to arm and disassemble explosives can be employed to different warhead types such as High Explosive (HE) warheads, Light Armor Piercing (LAP) warheads, or Multi-Purpose Sedimentation (MPS) warheads. Depending on the desired warfare system, the fuse can be adjusted in order to control the arming and disarming of the warhead.
