RXM-GNSS-GM-T Application Field and Working Principle
The RXM-GNSS-GM-T receiver is a multifunction GNSS/RTK/INS receiver developed by Radiodetection R&D. It is the industry\'s first sensor, which combines GNSS, Location, Motion Sensor, CAN communication, 4G, LoRa and other functions in one product. It can be widely used in many industries such as road traffic, intelligent agriculture, intelligent transport system, unmanned aerial vehicle and so on.RXM-GNSS-GM-T provides a high-precision GNSS receiver and a self-developed GNSS/RTK/INS integration system. It supports GPS, GLONASS, Beidou system and Galileo systems. The device is highly integrated, which includes GPS, GLONASS, Beidou, Galileo plus the on-board INS chip, GNSS antenna, RTK antenna and CAN communication module. These components help the user realize the navigation and positioning tasks.The device has three working modes which are GNSS, INS and GNSS/INS combined. The GNSS mode is used to realize position and navigation functions in an open sky area. The INS mode is used to continue to output position information when the sky is obscured by radio interference or terrain masking. With the high standardized precision of GPS-RWR antenna, the receiver can track the satellites more efficiently and accurately in lower signal levels as well. The GNSS/INS combined mode combines the advantages of both GNSS and INS motion sensor to form a seamless integration of input/output data.The RXM-GNSS-GM-T is well-rounded in terms of features and capabilities. It has a low power consumption of less than 2.7W and a high performance of up to 100Hz GNSS positioning update rate. The GNSS/RTK/INS integration system can provide quick and accurate positioning information also in various harsh environments. The device supports a wide range of navigation functions such as RTK heading, relative navigation, attitude and course matching and feature extraction. In terms of communication, the RXM-GNSS-GM-T supports 4G and LoRa communication which can be used to send data back to a cloud server or a base station. Data can be sent to a base station for further processing and evaluation. It also supports RTK post-processing and the RTK synchronization to a base station.Other advanced features of the RXM-GNSS-GM-T include: support for OpenGL 3D graphics library, dynamic GNSS satellite tracking, Doppler shift calculations, and accurate attitude heading calculation. The device has been designed with the advanced processing capabilities in order to provide high quality data for multiple applications in a variety of environments.
