The S-1000C33-M5T1U is an ultra-low power supply supervisory circuit (PMIC - Supervisors) with excellent reset and supply monitoring capabilities. This device is used to monitor power supplies and provide a reset to a host processor when the power supply voltage drops below an adjustable voltage threshold.
It also provides a "power pre-flush" feature that allows a host processor to be reset and reinitialized when a power supply voltage is about to come back up from a low operating level. This feature is useful for protecting the host processor from spurious interrupts caused by the power supply bouncing when it transitions from a low voltage to a high voltage.
