Figure 1 shows the internal working of the S-1121B39MC-N2YTFG under normal operating mode. The NPN transistor is used to regulate the input voltage supplied to the device, while the Darlington configuration provides the output voltage feedback for the voltage regulator. The device includes an adjustable voltage reference, an operational amplifier, a control circuit and an output pin. The operational amplifier performs the differential amplifier function and provides the precise voltage regulation.
