The S-1155B36-U5T1G is a member of the family of linear voltage regulators from PMIC - Voltage Regulators - Linear. The device is ideally suited for applications that require a low cost, low quiescent current, low dropout (LDO) linear voltage regulator. The device has a very wide input voltage range, wide output voltage range, low quiescent current, high power supply rejection ratio (PSRR), and thermal shutdown.

S-1155B36-U5T1G has 5 output channels: 3.3V, 2.5V, 1.3V, 0.7V and fixed 1.8V. The output current of each channel can up to 1.5A. As a low dropout linear voltage regulator, the output voltage of the device is regulated over a wide input voltage range: 4V to 36V. Working at maximum output voltage, the device only allows 0.5V of dropout. In addition, S-1155B36-U5T1G has over temperature protection feature and overload protection feature.

The S-1155B36-U5T1G works on a feedback control principle. The internal circuit is designed to maintain a stable output voltage by comparing the voltage at the feedback terminal with an internal reference voltage.
