It switches to a low current, reduced noise, mode of operation to lower the total ripple and noise in output voltage below 0.1mVpp. This feature makes this device particularly suitable for use in telecom and datacom applications requiring low noise signals.The S-1167B40-I6T2G uses a voltage feedback loop with a level – shifting circuit to ensure reliable and stable start-up operation. Its internal MOSFETs provide high efficiency operation up to 90%. It features two on-chip, low-side current sensing resistors that monitor the output current and protect the device from overload and IN/OUT differential pressure.
