The S-11L10D23-I6T2U is a three-terminal integrated circuit, including a feedback network, error amplifier, control circuit, reference voltage and pass transistor. The working principle of the S-11L10D23-I6T2U is based on the application of the so-called "error amplifier" element.The input voltage (Vin) is applied to an internal error amplifier which compares the reference voltage at its non-inverting input. When the voltage at the non-inverting input is lower than the reference voltage, the error amplifier produces a high output level and the pass transistor is turned on. The pass transistor will draw current through the load, causing the voltage at the inverting input of the error amplifier to rise. When the voltage at the inverting input reaches the same value as the reference voltage, the output of the error amplifier goes low. This disconnects the pass transistor from the power source and the output voltage is no longer able to maintain its value over the input voltage. Now, the output voltage (Vout) is held at the same value of the reference voltage.Conclusion
