The S-1206B28-U3T1G is a linear voltage regulator designed for industrial applications including AC/DC motor control and motion control. This voltage regulator utilizes an IC design to keep the input voltage steady no matter what the surrounding environment. The IC design of the S-1206B28-U3T1G prevents changes in the input voltage due to temperature variations, AC mains disturbances and other disturbances that can cause shifts in the input voltage.

The S-1206B28-U3T1G employs a foldback current limiting circuit that illuminates the output voltage at overload conditions. If a short circuit occurs, the circuit will also shut itself down, preventing any further damage to the circuit. This protector provides a secure and reliable regulation of the output voltage that is ideal for applications that require a stable output voltage.

The S-1206B28-U3T1G’s REG (Status LED) LED can be connected to the output of the regulator circuit, its output voltage is directly related to the voltage input. If the voltage is regulated, the LED will remain in the “ON” state. If the voltage is erratic, the LED will turn off and the circuit will shut down as pre-programmed.

The S-1206B28-U3T1G’s 3-terminal output is dedicated to driving DC and AC loads that require low voltage and current levels. To ensure reliability, the S-1206B28-U3T1G has an internal temperature limit set at 125°C, with an overtemperature protection circuit that will shut down the circuit when the temperature exceeds this limit.
