When the voltage at the noninverting input rises above a certain level, the output of the internal comparator will turn off, turning the transistor off, thus stopping the flow of current to ground. The output of the S-1313B2J-A4T1U3 is regulated according to the internal voltage reference, which is set by the two external components R1 and R2. The internal reference voltage is determined by the resistor network formed by R1 and R2. The output voltage of this LVR is adjusted by sensing the output voltage and comparing it with the internal reference voltage. If the output voltage rises above the reference voltage, the internal transistor will be turned off, thus reducing the output voltage.
