Working Principle

The S-80818CLPF-B6DTFU is a linear voltage supervisory IC. The IC is based on a voltage tolerant and precision voltage reference circuit comparing with the voltage of VCC and VBAT. The voltage of VCC is compared with an internally-fixed threshold voltage 2.05V. The voltage of VBAT is compared with two externally adjustable resistor values, which form a voltage divider and the voltage of VBAT is compared with the voltage got from VDIV. Under normal conditions, a reset signal is not generated. The Overtemperature signal is monitored via a threshold detector, which will activate when the ambient temperature is higher than its threshold of 150℃.
