The S-812C37BMC-C4RT2G voltage-mode linear regulator is a three-terminal device with adjustable output voltage. It is an ideal control element for a broad range of applications including but not limited to battery charger, AC/DC adapters, PCs, instrumentation, medical devices, and automotive electronics. This regulator is designed to provide precise regulation of output voltages with high accuracy, low ripple, and fast transient response.

The primary functions of the S-812C37BMC-C4RT2G are to provide precise output voltage and to provide output current limiting. To regulate the output voltage, the control loop consists of a trans-conductance amplifier, an error-amplifier and an output voltage measurement circuit. The output voltage is measured by a voltage divider across the output of the S-812C37BMC-C4RT2G and compared against a stable reference voltage.
