The synchronous-rectified S-8337ACIC-T8T1G IC regulates the output voltage with higher fidelity and efficiency than a traditional buck regulator. It also reduces harmonic current distortion and saves energy by wasting less energy as heat. The S-8337ACIC-T8T1G provides up to four configurable voltage outputs. The device can be configured for input voltages of 1.35V to 5.5V and output voltages from 0.8V to 5.0V. It is capable of delivering up to 8.7A of output current and is rated at 88% efficiency.
