The S-8341A25AFT-T2-G is a DC-DC switching controller used to create selective input and output voltage rails in a system application. This device can be used in a variety of applications including DC-to-DC switching converters, buck converters, and boost converters. The S-8341A25AFT-T2-G also offers protection against over-temperature, over-current, and short-circuit conditions.

The S-8341A25AFT-T2-G switching converter controls an N-channel MOSFET to regulate the output voltage from a preset voltage. The output voltage of the S-8341A25AFT-T2-G is adjustable with an external resistor divider network connected to the Device Control (CNTL) pin. The output voltage of the device is measurement through an external voltage divider network connected to the Device Output (OUT). The S-8341A25AFT-T2-G has an internal comparator to monitor the voltage signal used on the Device Control (CNTL) pin.
