The S-8520B28MC-ARNT2G is a DC-DC switching controller, suitable for control of wide-range off-line BUS converters and flyback converters. This device is capable of providing four-stage switching control, suitable for use in next-generation power applications. The S-8520B28MC-ARNT2G has an integrated power MOSFET, an integrated voltage monitoring circuit, an OC protection circuit, a thermal protection circuit and a current sensing circuit. In addition, the unit has an array of integrated digital and signal conditioning functions, allowing precise control of power conversion without the need for additional components. Its low standby power requirement and extended degree of flexibility makes it ideal for a wide range of power management applications.

The S-8520B28MC-ARNT2G provides functionality such as precise voltage regulation, pulse-by-pulse current limit, precise voltage/current slope control, over temperature/current protection and precise ON/OFF control of the output power.
