When entering standby mode with S3/S4 states, the device will enter sleep state and is capable of higher power saving. It supports autonomous data storing at a low voltage of 2.5V and doesn\'t need any additional external power supply. It features erase suspend capability which reduces the latency of erase process by suspending the erase process when the latency timer expires and an enhanced write suspend capability that reduces the latency of write process by suspending the write process when the latency timer expires.</p><p>The S25FS512SAGBHM213 has strong wear-leveling ability for the erase/write cycles which reduces the frequency of bad block marking. It also supports ECC (Error Correction Code) capability that reduces the soft bit errors due to aging or noise in the system.</p><p>The S25FS512SAGBHM213 also supports power management features like low VCCQ power off, low VCCQ2.5V power on and multiple sleep states. It features Flash power idling mode which will cut off the power supply to Flash array when system or the FDM enters sleep mode and the host can resume the power supply to S25FS512SAGBHM213 very quickly without waiting for the start-up process.</p><p>As mentioned before, S25FS512SAGBHM213 can be used in a wide range of applications. It is used as flash memory for PC, digital cameras, handheld devices and other mobile applications, DVRs, digital TVs, set-top boxes and many other products. It is also used for streaming video and audio applications, executable programming code and internet applications. In addition, it can also be used for embedded systems, memory cards and flash drives.</p>
