The S5D-E3/9AT is a singe-phase silicon bridge rectifier, primarily intended for electronic power supply applications. It consists of four silicon chips mounted in a single package. This product is capable of providing full wave rectification of AC mains supply voltages of up to 400 VAC.

The main application fields for the S5D-E3/9AT include AC/DC converters, DIN rail mounted units and industrial power supplies, as well as LED lighting, motor drives and HVAC controls, and uninterruptible power supplies (UPS).

The working principle of the S5D-E3/9AT component is based on the basic operation of a rectifier.
