The three AC input stages consist of thyristor rectifier, ideal rectifier and PFC circuits with coupled circuitry and are designed to provide excellent galvanic isolation from the input source. The rectifier stages provide galvanic isolation from the input source while providing high efficiency power conversion. The DC/AC power conversion output stages consist of a high efficiency PFC circuit, a high efficiency synchronous rectifier and a linear step-down regulator. The PFC circuit ensures the output voltage is regulated while the synchronous rectifier ensures an accurate output power. The linear step-down regulator ensures the output voltage is regulated to its specified value. The output voltage is further regulated by the phase shift circuit which provides efficient power conversion. The phase shift and linear power conversion circuitry is designed to provide an efficient power conversion rate of up to 97.5%.
