The SBR1045CTL-13 is a silicon-based rectifier array with a built-in transient-voltage suppression (TVS) circuit. Its purpose is to provide reliable, low-zero-voltage (LZV)-precision, reverse-bias surface mount protection in high-voltage and/or high-current applications. It has a reverse-biased connection across the sense element, providing a known voltage that, when exceeded, results in the shorting of the signal path, whereupon the SBR1045CTL-13 can block over-voltage transients associated with inductive load-switching, with excellent immunity against electrostatic discharge (ESD).
