Working Principle of SF05S1212A
SF05S1212A adopts the synchronous rectification technology, and it supports a wide frequency range. It adopts a synchronous rectification circuit composed of two MOSFET transistors, a resistor and a diode. The diode and the resistor form a loop that rectifies and filters the output of the synchronous rectification circuit. The MOSFET transistors are driven by a current control logic circuit, which, in turn, is driven by an internal PWM controller. The internal PWM controller is used to control the operation of the current control logic circuit.
When the input voltage is in excess of the desired output voltage, the PWM controller compares the input voltage and feedback voltage, and generates a signal that turns on the MOSFETs. The secondary side voltage produces a current on the output of the synchronous rectification circuit.

The regulated output voltage is determined by the internal PWM controller, which also maintains a constant output voltage while the input voltage varies. This makes the SF05S1212A an ideal regulator for electronic systems requiring a constant regulated voltage from variable input voltage sources.
