It offers a locking system for secure connections and a wide range of terminal options from PCB terminals with mounting lance, to fully integrated micro-grid connectors. Compatible wires are 18 to 24 AWG. These electrical connectors are rated for 8.5A (AWG 24) and 2.5A (AWG 14-18) of continuous current and 16A (AWG 30), 5.5A (AWG 24) and 2.5A (AWG 14-18) of peak current.

The system also includes a variety of terminations such as headers with and without lance systems, vertical and right angle receptacles, female sockets, and vertical and right angle plugs. Working Principle

The dual-beam terminals contact the wires less than 1.27 mm, and feature integral latch and high mating forces for secure and reliable connection. The terminals feature a ‘V’ contact design that offers enhanced current carrying capabilities and reliable contact performance. The high-retention forces offered by lances make the connection further resistant to shock and vibration conditions.
