Working Principle

The SFML-115-02-S-D-SN-P is a receptacle that is designed to accept a header with an SFML-115-02-P-D-SN-P configuration. The header is inserted into the female socket with the two rows of terminals either side of the connectoraligned. Once the two parts are mated together, the locking mechanism on the female socket will secure the header into place and prevent any damage should the two parts be pulled apart.Each of the terminals on the socket contain a resilient contact that is designed to provide excellent electrical mating and performance. When the header is inserted, the contact is pushed in until it touches the terminals on the header, creating a reliable connection. This contact then ensures a good electrical connection and reliable performance.
