The SI-70022 is an example of this type of electrical connection. The magnetically bonded ferrite beads act as a barrier between the connector metal and outside EMI and reduce the electromagnetic radiation generated by the connection.The working principle of the SI-70022 is relatively simple. When an electrical connection is established between the connector elements, the magnets embedded in the ferrite beads will create an opposing force along the lines of magnetic field. This opposing force is enough to establish a strong connection between the contacting elements which will ensure that the electrical signal is transferred accurately and without error.The SI-70022 can be used in various application fields where high speed data transmission is a requirement. These applications include data centers, CATV systems, fiber access networks, WAN/LAN, datalinks, and medical equipment.
