Working Principle of SI32266-C-FM
The SI32266-C-FM’s real-time clock PLL (phase locked loop) contains two main components: an oscillator and a phase detector. The oscillator is typically a quartz crystal resonator with an external capacitor whose frequency is determined both by the crystal and the capacitor’s capacitance. The external clock source is connected to the phase detector, which measures the phase difference between its input and reference signals. The output of the phase detector is used to drive the voltage-controlled oscillator, which adjusts its frequency until the phase difference between the input and reference signals is zero. In this way, the output of the voltage-controlled oscillator is synchronized with the input signal, and the frequency is accurately determined by the frequency of the external oscillator.Applications of SI32266-C-FM
