The SI5335C-B07075-GM is a high-performance clock generator, Phase-Locked Loop (PLL), and frequency synthesizer designed to provide a highly EMI-immune clocking solution for high-speed data and clock signals. Based on Silicon Labs\' industry-leading silicon MEMS clock technology, the SI5335C-B07075-GM provides an unparalleled combination of ultra low jitter, high performance, no-compromise power efficiency, excellent EMI compliance and an integrated fail-safe function. The SI5335C-B07075-GM is uniquely designed to provide an easy-to-use programmable solution for a wide range of clocking requirements, from low-power, low-noise mobile platforms to high-performance, multi-frequency networking systems. The SI5335C-B07075-GM operates from 3.0 V to 3.6 V and features two independent PLLs and two independently configurable outputs.

The SI5335C-B07075-GM is capable of outputting multiple different frequencies to drive asynchronous clocks for FPGA\'s, DSP\'s, processors, and numerous other synchronous-to-asynchronous data conversion applications. For example, the SI5335C-B07075-GM can be used to generate an output frequency of 10 MHz to driven by a reference clock of 100 MHz, and its outputs can be synchronized to each other or to an external reference. The device also features an integrated differential input/output buffer that provides a simple, noise-immune solution for transmitting and receiving clock and data signals.

The SI5335C-B07075-GM supports various types of clock mode operation, frequency hopping, and divides/multiply functions. The SI5335C-B07075-GM supports a wide frequency range from 500 kHz to 200 MHz and features a variety of clock output types, including LVPECL, LVDS, differential TTL, HSTL, single-ended CMOS and single-ended ECL. The device also features an integrated fail-safe output (FSO) for improved system design robustness. The FSO monitors up to four input clocks and automatically switches between each of the four inputs in the case of a missing reference.

The SI5335C-B07075-GM can be easily programmed using either a combination of voltage control signals (VCNTL) or through the I2C-compatible serial interface. The VCNTL approach helps maintain device performance during changes in temperature and supply voltage, while the serial interface provides an even higher level of integration and system flexibility.
