The SI5391P-A-GMR is a high-performance clock generator, phase-locked loop (PLL) and frequency synthesizer with advanced features. It offers excellent performance and flexibility, providing highly versatile and configurable solutions for any timing application. It generates both differential and single-ended clock signals with low-jitter, low-noise and wideband operation. This device is suitable for a wide range of high-performance timing applications, such as communications infrastructure, computing systems, broadcast and internet TV.
The SI5391P-A-GMR features two differential PLL inputs and two differential outputs. It is available in two frequencies, a 5.5-GHz frequency synthesizer and a 9.5-GHz frequency synthesizer. All outputs can be enabled/disabled through software control. All internal circuits are clocked by a low-noise low-jitter differential clock. All inputs are also clocked by an ultra-low-jitter, low-noise, wideband sine wave clock.
The SI5391P-A-GMR is designed to deliver low-jitter, low-noise and wideband signals to any application. It offers two differential phase-locked loop (PLL) outputs and two differential frequency synthesizer outputs with air-cored inductors and wideband dielectric resonator filters. Both PLL and frequency synthesizer systems use frequency dividers, multipliers and dividers to provide the necessary loop gain. The device also includes a 16-bit programmable divider for improved resolution and faster frequency adjustment. This allows for increased flexibility for any application.
The SI5391P-A-GMR can also be used for frequency multiplication and frequency generation. It can generate up to four different PLL-based frequency signals, including the clock frequency and three outputs of selectable frequencies. These outputs can be used for any application that requires temperature-controlled, low-noise and low-jitter timing signals. It also offers self-calibration, allowing the device to monitor and correct any reference signal errors, ensuring the highest accuracy and quality in the generated clock signals.
The SI5391P-A-GMR offers advanced features such as resonant frequency generator (RFG), programmable clock inputs, programmable output ternary divider, selectable output power, adjustable frequency stability and selectable de-emphasis control.
