The SI5335D-B05508-GMR is a versatile clock generator intended for use in any system requiring multiple programmable clocks and synthesizers. It provides a wide range of features such as low-noise and high-performance outputs, zero-delay and phase-locked loop (PLL) outputs, two integrated VCXOs, fractional-N frequency multiplying PLLs and integrated jitter cleaners. It is designed to serve mission-critical applications such as advanced medical imaging and storage, military embedded systems and telecom systems.

The SI5335D-B05508-GMR integration and package size of 9.5mm × 8mm makes it ideal for use in space-constrained applications. It also has a low jitter and holdover performance of better than 10 ps.

The SI5335D-B05508-GMR has two integrated voltage controlled crystal oscillators (VCXOs) providing up to ±25 ppm frequency variation over a 40°C to 105°C temperature range. The integrated VCXOs are decoupled from any input frequency changes, allowing very small frequency control range, making them ideal for low-jitter output clocks. The integrated jitter cleaners provide clean, low-jitter outputs. They accept a single input clock and generate a clean clock output.
