The SI5338B-B00418-GMR is an integrated circuit used in the Timing and Clocking application space. It is a single-chip solution that combines voltage-controlled Oscillators (VCXO), Low Phase Noise Clock Generators, and Clock Synthesizers. It is designed to provide high accuracy and excellent signal integrity, and is ideal for use in complex timing applications such as military and aerospace applcations, medical instrumentation, wireless communications, and data centers.

The SI5338B-B00418-GMR is based on a low jitter clock generator circuit which uses a loop-based architecture to offer highly accurate frequency outputs by utilizing stable and jitter resistant Interpolators and Phase Detectors along with a wide operational frequency range. The device is capable of outputting clocks and synthesized signals from a low of 1 Hz up to a high of 250 MHz. It also features a programmable pull range of ± 80 PPM and adjustable Duty Cycle.

This device is also PLL-based, meaning it is capable of generating a wide range of different frequencies, allowing the user to select any number of specific frequencies to be output in order to meet the exact needs of their application.
