The SI5338M-B06979-GM is a high-performance multi-output timing solution that can integrate digital and analog outputs into a single device. It is specifically designed for applications in the Clock/Timing – Application Specific field. The clock synthesizer is designed to meet the needs of many system-level applications, including datacenter networking, high-end storage, video communications, and automotive systems.This multi-output product includes seven output options for providing reliable, low-jitter clock signals. There are five accessible outputs under the given control pins, two output types can be configured as two single-ended LVPECL, LVDS, or differential HCSL output formats, and two other output types can be configured as LVDS, RCVDS, or HCSL. The output frequencies of SI5338M-B06979-GM range from 1.15 to 535.0Mhz, with a maximum spread-spectrum modulation frequency of +/- 500kHz. The outputs of the device can also be power-downed independently.In order to control and configure the SI5338M-B06979-GM, the IC requires a single-ended CMOS interface with up to five control pins. In addition, the device also has a serial programmable temperature compensated crystal oscillator (TCXO) option to provide improved jitter, phase noise and stability performance.
