The SI5340C-D-GMR is a high performance jitter attenuator with a digital frequency synthesizers that offers superior signal integrity and flexibility. This device is ideal for applications that require precise jitter and signal timing performance and noise mitigation. It features a wide signal bandwidth, capable of both high-frequency and low-frequency signals, making it suitable for a variety of applications, from consumer electronics to industrial applications.

The primary application field of the SI5340C-D-GMR is clock generators, phase-locked loops, frequency synthesizers and other related timing applications. It is used to control, identify and synchronize signals to create precision timing for embedded microprocessor and communication systems. Moreover, the device is suitable for use in PC motherboards, network switches, home theater systems, HDTVs and portable media players.

The key features of the SI5340C-D-GMR include its small size, low power consumption and wide frequency range of 135MHz to 400MHz. It comes with a choice of 4-terminal differential ECL, LVCMOS, or 3-state clock outputs, plus a 3.3V LVCMOS output for reference clock. It also offers high-performance jitter attenuation, up to 70dB, to eliminate timing jitter.

The first version, SIS8300, features Dual use Reference Clock Input with an impressive reference sensitivity of 140mV and a typical reference jitter of less than 21F. The second version, SIS5000, features Reference Clock Amplifier, designed to reduce reference jitter to less than 3F. Both versions provide excellent reference clock performance, ideal for jitter-critical applications.
