The SI5341B-D-GMR is a CLock/Timing - Clock Generators, PLLs, Frequency Synthesizers product manufactured by Silicon Laboratories Inc. It is an ultra-low jitter, high frequency-synthesizing, digitally-controlled clock generator that offers up to four outputs. The SI5341B-D-GMR is designed to be used in a wide range of applications, from RF transmitters and receivers, base transceiver stations, wireless LANs and optical networks. Additionally, the SI5341B-D-GMR can be used in high frequency, high accuracy timing and frequency domain applications.

The SI5341B-D-GMR integrates an integer-N phase-locked loop (PLL) and a voltage controlled oscillator (VCO), offering an extremely low-jitter, high-frequency synthesis solution for clock and timing applications. The SI5341B-D-GMR can also operate as a stand-alone clock or as a source of high frequency tuning signals such as RF transmitters and receivers. When used in standalone application, the SI5341B-D-GMR provides its users with a very low jitter reference clock frequency.

The output of the SI5341B-D-GMR is based on a configurable 24-bit digital phase detector (PD) with a digital loop filter (LPF), VCO divider and phase trimming, programmable crystal or clock reference source and a reference divider. The main features of the PLL used in the SI5341B-D-GMR are a wide range of loop bandwidths, fast transient lock-times, reference clock independent power up modes, adjustable linear gain and well-defined control voltage transfer curves.

The SI5341B-D-GMR features four phase- and frequency-locked outputs with a wide range of frequency selection and phase control options. Each output has its own phase and frequency trimming, power control, and spread spectrum generate/dither control capabilities. With the spread spectrum feature, the SI5341B-D-GMR can significantly reduce EMI and comply with EMI safety regulations.

The SI5341B-D-GMR offers low power consumption and low power modes. By leveraging the highly integrated and low noise VCO, it is capable of generating high-frequency, low-jitter, single-ended and differential clock outputs. The chip also supports frequency spreading, clock gating, frequency tuning and phase selection. Additionally, the device also supports crystal oscillators and other reference clocks for low jitter frequency synthesis and phase modulation capabilities.

The SI5341B-D-GMR is supported by Silicon Laboratories\' Clock Builder Pro software, which allows engineers to quickly and easily configure the SI5341B-D-GMR to meet their system\'s specific requirements. This makes it easy to customize the SI5341B-D-GMR to their application with little effort. The software also offers an easy-to-use graphical user interface and a graphical way of setting the various parameters.
