This highly integrated clock generator provides a convenient, single-device solution for clocking a wide range of systems. With their frequency range of 1 to 500 MHz and output flexibility, these devices are ideal for use in a wide range of applications.

The SI5342D-D-GMR employs a programmable phase locked loop (PLL) to generate an output frequency that is synchronized to one of three reference Input signals. The Controller feedback ensures stability and offers excellent clock noise performance. Additionally, the SI5342D-D-GMR offers a wide operating range, enabling flexible operation over a wide voltage range.

The versatile output configuration combines a high number of low-power differential outputs with the latest CMOS technology and is designed for the highest level of performance. Each output can be individually configured for LVCMOS, differential, SMA or other output formats. In addition, the device can output spread spectrum clock (SSC), which is used for Electromagnetic Interference (EMI) reduction.

The device can also be controlled with either a 3-Wire serial peripheral interface (SPI) or through the use of the pin-strap programming pins. Both provide a convenient way to select the device output format and set up its desired configuration. The SPI programming interface is especially convenient and provides an easy way to configure the device in-system.
