The SI5345A-D-GM is a high-performance, easy-to-use 160 MHz clock generator and synthesizer with built-in deterministic jitter attenuation, integrated EMI reduction and a wide range of integrated features. It is primarily used in clock-dependent system implementations, from consumer electronics to communications systems and other equipment with high clock requirement.

The SI5345A-D-GM clock generator and synthesizer is available in three different supply and reference frequency ranges – 1.8V ±5%, 3.3V ±5%, 5V ±5%. It operates from a wide range of reference sources, offering excellent jitter, tracking sensitivity and frequency stability. The SI5345A-D-GM integrates a multipliers and dividers to synthesize clocks from the fundamental reference frequency to the output frequency range, as well as a wide range of programmable output waveforms. Using its integrated EMI reduction feature, the SI5345A-D-GM offers clean outputs with reduced EMI noise, suitable for applications with stringent EMC requirements. It is also integrated with a jitter attenuator with deterministic output characteristics, thanks to its multi-stage output filters. The SI5345A-D-GM accepts a wide range of reference sources, such as crystal oscillators, voltage controlled oscillators (VCOs) and electrostatic-discharge (ESD) circuits. Additionally, it can be configured to accept reference frequency from both internal sources, as well as external sources. This clock generator and synthesizer also provides control and management of the start-up and shutdown of the output clock signals, as well as shut-off and reset inputs for fault recovery management.
