This device offers a wide range of features and performance benefits while delivering low power operation.The SI5350A-B04578-GT is a digital PLL/VCO clock generator with a frequency range of 19.8MHz to 500MHz. It is designed to be used in personal computers, gaming console, mobile devices, telecommunications systems, industrial control systems, and automotive applications. The device provides a stable clock source and clock jitter improvements over traditional analog-based timing solutions. The SI5350A-B04578-GT gives system designers flexibility in clock tree design, with the ability to drive outputs from both sides of the internal oscillator, allowing one device to replace multiple traditional oscillators or to reduce component count in high-end applications.The device structure is composed of a phase-locked loop (PLL) and a voltage-controlled oscillator (VCO) integrated on the same IC. The PLL is responsible for generating the output clock signals from an input reference clock. The VCO is used to provide a variable frequency output from the PLL. The phase detector compares the phase difference between the reference signal and the feedback signal, generating the PLL error signal.
