The SI5350C-B03382-GTR is an ideal clock generator for system timing applications requiring for low phase noise and low jitter. The product is a integrated PLL with fractional or integer-N multi-band digital phase-locked loop (DPLL) synthesizer. It provides a range of low power , fully-integrated programmable solutions that minimize external circuitry and integrates a digital system with different complete differential or single-ended clock networks.
The SI5350C-B03382-GTR features a fully integrated Fractional-N (F-N) or Integer-N (I-N) programmable DPLL which can operate in multiple modes. The frequency can be programmed via an I2C™ interface or it can operate autonomously in a free running mode. The DPLL provides very low jitter and is capable of generating low phase noise signals required in radio frequency applications. It can be used in variety of frequency generation and clock distribution applications to minimize board components, maximize system timing precision and flexibility.

Working Principle
The SI5350C-B03382-GTR utilizes a double digital multiphase system, which allows for generating up to four independent output clocks from a single reference input. This device has a wide input frequency range of 0.2 to 1600 MHz. The DPLL synthesizes high frequency signals with excellent spectral purity, low jitter and low phase noise performance. The DPLL can also synthezise a higher frequency output than what can be provided by the reference clock, allowing for high accuracy frequency divisions.
Furthermore, the device features a low power consumption, a low profile zig-zag package, multiple power supply capabilities, and an easy programming and configuration using an I²C interface. The DPLL circuit can run in both integer-N and fractional-N modes with a wide range of programmable frequency ratios.
Unlike Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) based frequency synthesizers, the Digital PLL (DPLL) technology used in the SI5350C-B03382-GTR allows for the syntehsizing of complex clock frequencies, multi-phase clocks and clock trees that cannot be achieved through PWM alone. In addition, the Digital PLL allows for a low power consumption and a less noisy operation.
The 5P49V5911 can also be used as a clock frequency generator. This PLL clock generator is capable of generating a wide range of clock frequencies from 1 Hz to 250 MHz. This frequency generator offers 4 output clocks, an integrated voltage controlled oscillator (VCO) and various output formats. It also features a wide input range of 1.4 to 10M Hz. The 5P49V5911 is therefore ideal for applications which require a wide variety of frequencies and oscillation sources.
The 5P49V5911 features programmable frequency dividers and dividers, which allow for the generation of complex frequencies and multi-phase clocks. It also features a built-in noise reduction function and jitter functions. The built-in PLL clock generator also provides an adjustable charge pump current and output voltage.
The 5P49V5911 has a user-friendly GUI that is designed to facilitate configuration and customization of the device. Additionally, it provides advanced features such as a Programmable Synchronous Divider, High Definition PWM output, as well as an programmable de-skew and inter-channel phase synchronization. The 5P49V5911 also supports low jitter and low phase noise clock generation.
