SIT1602ACB2-25S is a high precision and programmable oscillator. It operates at temperatures up to +85°C with typical frequency tolerance of ±25ppm over the full operating temperature range, and with frequency stabilization time of 0.3ms.

Working principle

SIT1602ACB2-25S is composed of an oscillator core and a mux-ed control panel. The oscillator core generates an output signal alternately at a frequency selected by the user. The mux-ed control panel allows the user to select both the oscillator core and the desired frequency of the output signal, thus providing programmable functionality.The oscillator core can be programmed by adjusting the control lines, which in turn adjusts the amplitude and frequency of the output signal. The output frequency is synthesized from the multiplication of reference frequency and a tuning code, which is generated from the control panel. The number of possible frequencies is 16 different variations, programmable via programming resistors or digital I/O pins.

In addition, SIT1602ACB2-25S is equipped with an amplitude control function which allows users to control the amplitude of the output signal, thus maximizing component efficiency and minimizing energy costs.
