<p>Programmable Oscillators are peripherals that are used to control the frequency of signals that originate from a single central clock. In programs and circuits, this type of oscillator is used to provide an accurate and stable source of a continuous and usually repetitive waveform. Due to its versatile design, Programmable Oscillators are commonly used in many applications, such as timing reference, clock and data recovery and frequency synthesis. Among these is the SIT1602ACL1-25S, a feature-packed and reliable Programmable Oscillator.</p><p>Delivering accurate and stable frequency and timing solutions, the SIT1602ACL1-25S Programmable Oscillator is used by a wide range of industries, from aerospace and defense to consumer electronics and medical. The oscillator also offers an impressive very low phase noise up to -45dBc/Hz at 1kHz offset, ensuring its excellent performance in noise sensitive applications.</p><p>The SIT1602ACL1-25S uses a dual-modulus N/M fractional-N PLL to create a wide frequency range from 100kHz to 25MHz. The oscillator is able to generate a very wide frequency range powered by a single voltage of 1.8V to 3.3V. With a power consumption of only 0.5mW to 10mW, it provides a low-cost, low-power solution for applications where the power-consumption is an essential factor. On top of that, the SIT1602ACL1-25S Programmable Oscillator is dimensionally small, with a maximum size of only 120 x 60 x 4mm.</p><p>In terms of working principles, the SIT1602ACL1-25S Programmable Oscillator works by applying two techniques to generate output frequency. Firstly, it applies phase shifting to the reference frequency by means of phase locked loop (PLL). Secondly, it applies frequency multiplication. The use of PLL techniques allows the oscillator to achieve an extremely low jitter performance. Compared to conventional oscillators, the SIT1602ACL1-25S offers a much smaller jitter and frequency error.</p><p>The SIT1602ACL1-25S Programmable Oscillator is constructed using highly integrated designs and utilizes thermal compensation technology. This ensures accurate output frequency and temperature stability as high as ±2 PPM over a wide temperature range from -20 to 70 ℃. Additionally, the SIT1602ACL1-25S follows lead-free and RoHS compliant reflow soldering processes, making it one of the most reliable and robust Programmable Oscillators available on the market.</p><p>Given its unique combination of features and specifications, the SIT1602ACL1-25S Programmable Oscillator is an excellent choice for applications such as timing reference, clock and data recovery and frequency synthesis.
