SIT1602ACU3-25S Application Field and Working Principle

SIT1602ACU3-25S is a kind of programmable oscillators, which is widely used for many electronic components, such as computers and LCD TVs. The product integrates the patented and exclusive MEMS technology, micromechanical structures, high and low temperature compensation techniques, high and low frequency analog filters, and digital logic elements into a single chip.

The unique structure of the SIT1602ACU3-25S permits variable property settings. Its output signals are stable and reliable with wide range adjustment, high precision and low phase noise. This feature makes it suitable for a number of different applications, including phase-locked loop (PLL), frequency synthesizers, automotive electronics, wireless modules, and test equipment.

Working Principle

The SIT1602ACU3-25S uses a square wave generator to generate a reference frequency that is then applied to an onboard high-speed analog filter. The filter is designed to remove the low-order harmonic components and reduce the jitter in the output signal.

The output of the filter is then applied to a phase-locked loop (PLL) circuit, where it is compared to the desired output frequency. The PLL circuit then adjusts the reference frequency as needed in order to achieve the desired output frequency. Once the reference frequency is adjusted to the desired value, the square wave generator output is forwarded to the output of the device. The output frequency can be manually adjusted or programmed via an external interface.
