The Sit1602AI-13-18E is an electronic oscillator constructed using an oscillating circuit, a pair of XTAL oscillator and an amplifier. The basic principle of an oscillator is to generate an oscillating signal by converting amplitude variations into frequency variations. The oscillating circuit is the heart of the oscillator, providing the signal whose frequency is determined by the resonant characteristics of the components. The XTAL oscillator and the amplifier are used to amplify the signal and to stabilise the frequency.The oscillator circuit is designed to produce a sine wave with a frequency determined by the circuit components. The frequency is determined by the resonant characteristics of an inductor and a capacitor connected in parallel. In the XTAL oscillator section, a quartz crystal is used as the frequency-determining element. The quartz crystal is connected in series between two capacitors. The output of the oscillator is amplified by the amplifier and then fed into the output stage.The Sit 1602AI-13-18E is able to maintain an excellent thermal stability over a wide temperature range.
