SIT1602BIR8-25S programmable oscillators are made with Intersil’s ISL7000 dual-channel, Dual-PLL core technology. The core features low phase noise, fine frequency resolution and wide frequency span. It comes with a low initial tolerance (-/25) and fast frequency pull-in/pull-out of 0.533 to 8.693 GHz.

The working principle of SIT1602BIR8-25S programmable oscillator is based on frequency synthesis technology. It combines two low-noise PLLs and two independent frequency dividers into a single dual-channel device. Each of the two PLLs is able to generate two different output signals. By using a programmable Register array, users can precisely adjust and choose the desired output frequency and amplitude level. This makes it possible for the oscillator to be tuned to different frequency ranges without additional components.

SIT1602BIR8-25S oscillator can also be configured to offer any arbitrary frequency combination programmably. This feature makes it ideal for frequency band hopping, frequency scanning and frequency tuning. In addition, its dual-channel design offers a perfect solution for wide dynamic range applications. The input signal and the output signal of the oscillator have a ratio of 1:2 that ensures high dynamic range and low jitter.

SIT1602BIR8-25S programmable oscillator has a wide application field.
