The frequency range can be adjusted with 100ppm accuracy and the amplitude can be adjusted with 0.2dB accuracy. The direct control mode allows the user to precisely control the signal output with great accuracy and stability even under high speed and temperature fluctuations.

In the direct control mode, the user also has a wide range of output timing modes, such as pulse width modulation, port mapping and modulation functions. Pulse Width modulation is used to alter the length and shape of the signal to vary its characteristics and control the final output frequency. Port mapping allows the user to select specific ports and map the output frequency and amplitude. Modulation functions allow for multiple variations in the output signal for different frequency requirements.
