It is an oscillator which has been specifically designed for usage on frequency control circuits.This oscillator is formed by an integrated circuit type of oscillator and features a range of applications that can be utilised in almost any need. The operating range of this oscillator is a frequency range of 0.5~33 MHz, with a quartz crystal resonator with the ability of adjusting the frequency by a factor of ± 200 ppm and a frequency stability of 10 ppm/℃ within a temperature range of -40℃ to + 125 ℃.The main application of the SIT9120AC-1B-33S is in frequency control elements, such as the computer clock frequency controller and the system time base. It is also used in application fields including communication, data processing and computerized instrumentation. This device is suitable for use when manufactured in high-volume production and in these applications it will generally maintain its performance and reliability for decades.The SIT9120AC-1B-33S operates with a combination of a quartz crystal resonator and an integrated circuit oscillation module. In its oscillation cycle, the transistor switch of the integrated circuit oscillator circuit is turned off. When it is turned off, the quartz crystal is able to vibrate and thus oscillate the voltage data of the transistor in its usual frequency. The frequency of the oscillation is determined by the oscillation substrates.For the frequency adjustment, the SIT9120AC-1B-33S uses a base-emitter voltage supplied by an external voltage control. This voltage is used as an input to the control circuit and it is then used to adjust the frequency in a fashion similar to the PLL technique in order to compensate temperature variation.The SIT9120AC-1B-33S has Protection Connecting mode, this feature places the transistor of the oscillating circuit in the OFF position and the oscillation circuit in the low impedance state. In this mode, the crystal resonator functions as a protection part to the transistor switch in order to ensure that the the transistor remains in a safe and closed state when the device is in an OFF state, thus prolonging its life.In summary, the SIT9120AC-1B-33S is a powerful oscillator that can be used for frequency control in many different application fields.
