Working Principle

The SKA15B-033 DC DC converter module works by converting DC power into AC power and then rectifying the output back to DC power. This process is known as “DC-DC conversion” or “DC/AC conversion”. The DC-DC conversion process involves the use of power transistor switches to alternately store energy in an inductor and release it to the load. Two transistors, called “switchers” are used to alternately store and release energy. The switchers are controlled via a PWM (Pulse Width Modulation) signal.
