I/O Relay Modules

SLO5CRX is a type of input/output relay module. It is equipped with four relays with Form C contacts, one normally open contact and one normally closed contact. The SLO5CRX module is designed for low-voltage and low-current applications in Industrial, Commercial, and Residential environments. The module is UL listed for use with both AC and DC circuits. Its rugged construction ensures high reliability and long life.

SLO5CRX’s Application Field:

SLO5CRX is a versatile relay module suitable for a wide range of applications in Industrial and Commercial environments. It can be used for switching signals and loads of any size, ranging from low-voltage (24V or less) and low-current (5A or less) circuits to higher-voltage (up to 300VAC) and higher-current (up to 10A) circuits. Furthermore, the module is also suitable for connecting various signals to each other, such as analog, digital, and TTL signals. It can also be used for remote signalling and remote control applications.

SLO5CRX’s Working Principle:

The working principle of SLO5CRX is based on the use of electromechanical relays. The SLO5CRX relay module requires a voltage supply to operate. When the supply voltage is applied, a current flows through the coil of the relay, creating a magnetic field that pulls the armature of the relay, completing the circuit. When the supply voltage is removed, the magnetic field collapses and the armature of the relay returns to its initial position, opening the circuit. The contacts of the Form C relays can then be used to complete a circuit with another voltage supply in order to switch a connected load.

The SLO5CRX module is also equipped with a diode, which protects the relays from the voltage spikes that can occur when the power supply is switched off. There is also a built-in surge protection feature that guards against overvoltage and short-circuit conditions.

In addition to these features, the SLO5CRX module can also be programmed with a special microcontroller, allowing for advanced features such as the programming of relays for automation, remote control, and other applications. This makes the module a versatile and reliable solution for many types of applications.
