It has a low dynamic impedance of 1.6 ohms and a fast response time of 1μs typical. It also provides good clamping estimates over the entire operating range of the device. The SMCJ100CA V7G has a working voltage range from 5.9V to 100V.
The SMCJ100CA V7G is suitable for applications such as automobiles, telecom circuits, digital and analog circuit protection, DC-DC converters, and many others. It can be used to protect circuits against overvoltage transients that result from lightning, inductive switching transients, electromagnetic interference (EMI), and electrostatic transients.
