SN105125DBVR is a three terminal linear voltage regulator. Linears voltage regulators are most commonly used voltage regulator referred to as the low drop-out (LDO) regulator. It is capable of supplying a fixed output voltage with a supply voltage (Vin) range of 1V to 27V. It has a ±2% voltage accuracy and is capable of a maximum output current of 125mA. Working Principle

The SN105125DBVR operates by converting an input voltage that is higher than its target output voltage (Vout), into a regulated output voltage. The voltage regulator consists of an internal voltage reference circuit, an error amplifier, a P-channel MOSFET, and an internal current-limiting circuit.

The internal voltage reference circuit generates an internal voltage reference, called Vref. The error amplifier compares the internal Vref with the external Vout, and amplifies the difference. The resulting error signal is used to drive the P-Channel MOSFET. If the voltage at theOutput pin is lower than Vref, the error amplifier will drive the P-channel MOSFET to cause this voltage to increase. If the voltage at the Output pin is higher than Vref, the error amplifier will cause the P-channel MOSFET to cause this voltage to decrease.

The internal current-limiting circuit will detect the magnitude of output current, and then limit the output current to keep it at a safe level. This current limiter together with theinternal P-channel MOSFET ensures that the output voltage remains stable under all load conditions.

The SN105125DBVR has a wide range of supply voltage and is designed to work under various power conditions. Its operating temperature range is of -40℃ to +85℃, which ensures that it operates stably in applications with high temperature environment.
