The SN65MLVD082DGG is an interface chip designed for transmitting and receiving low voltage data signals, and it features a high noise immunity and a linear regulator for noise suppression. The interface chip is capable of interfacing with two drivers, receivers, transceivers, and can operate on the RS-485 communication protocol.

This interface chip is designed for industrial and military applications and features an integrated low dropout regulator for noise suppression and a spread spectrum clock control for efficient communication. The chip operates on an extended temperature range between -40°C and 85°C and is rated at 5KV ESD protection. The SN65MLVD082DGG is a half-duplex transceiver and allows data flow in both directions using the bus line.
