The device can be considered as two independent single-input, one-state flip-flops. Each flip-flop can be configured either as a set/reset, or as a data latch. In both configurations, the logic levels at the S (set) and R (reset) pins control the logic levels at the output.When set up as a data latch, the logic levels at the D and C (clock) pins control the logic levels at the output. When D is high, the high level is transferred to the output on rising edges of the clock whereas when D is low, the low level is transferred to the output upon rising edges of the clock. Conversely, when set up as a set/reset, the logic levels at the S and R pins control the logic levels at the output. When S is high and R is low, the high fixed logic is transferred to the output and when S is low and R is high, the low fixed logic is transferred to the output.The device is easily configured with a minimal amount of external components. It requires power with a range of 2.3V to 5.5V and it is compatible with the HC logic series of logic elements. Other features include high speed operations, fast power-up, and low-power consumption.The SN74AHCT16374DGGR is a great choice for any system design requiring a powerful yet low power, configurable logic element.
